Web design is a fast growing activity for every one irrespective of your gender, career or race.
Every business in the world need a platform for transaction purposes, so websites has come to solve the problem of lack of contacts, presence and availability of business owners and their products.

In this post, I want to share few things you need to know as a web or intending web designer. you cannot start as a pro but you can become a pro in the process.

Having knowledge of programming languages is not a bad idea but lack of it doesn't stop you from being a web designer, that is why i want to introduce you to what is called CMS.

You must have heard of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQLi, Angular js, C++ , Python and others and the thought of learning them keeps you in fear.  CMS is not one of those programming languages, its an acronym for Content Management System.

Yes, what it means is that you can build your website with these applications and host it without knowing how to write codes, what you see is what you get is the bases of operation. few of these CMS include WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magenta, etc.

WordPress is said to be the easiest and commonest of all but I will always tell people, get to know the one you wish to learn and you can build any kind of websites with modules, templates and themes which are readily available.
