Highly Digitalized TStv is here to rival DStv

The entry of the cable network (TSTV) into Nigeria’s media space was one of the top trending topics on the internet now. On October 1st, 2017, the 57th anniversary of Nigeria’s independence, a new cable television platform known as Telecom Satellites TV (TStv) will launch its services that very day.

TS is a Direct-To-Home (DTH) broadcast service that came to be as a result of a multi-transponder agreement between ABS and Telcom Satellites TV to deliver DTH to Nigeria on the ABS 3A satellite. The service is set to air more than 100 TV channels at first and grow to above 150 with time.

Bright Echefu, STV Managing Director and CEO said: “Our vision is to provide premium video experience to Nigerians at affordable prices. Our services will enable the viewers to experience HD and SD video and internet surfing at the same time. We are the first indigenous local operator in the region to launch such a premium platform with a variety of services to Nigerians, who have been so far paying exorbitant prices to foreign operators.”

TStv is offering internet and broadcast services all in one package similar to what Zuku offers its subscribers in Kenya to effectively tame DStv in that East African country.

The TStv market entry is fostered on the theme of freedom to enjoy better and cheaper payTv services. The new station has a lower entry price and a monthly subscription window with Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) offerings. Subscribers on TStv may save themselves up to 200% in their monthly satellite TV budget as the new service provider unleash a pricing war on the existing monopoly.

I'm glad to let you know that we have got the full list of TSTV decoder channels available for subscribers to enjoy. With over 200 channels, TStv got you covered all day.

When talking about channels, TSTV offers Sports, Kids, Health, Fashion, News, Entertainment, Ethnic and religious channels in abundance. The official site for TSTV is http://www.tstvafrica.com

It's an added advantage and incentive to entice you. With that data, you can connect your PC and smartphones to the decoder via WiFi hotspot to enjoy browsing and downloading with it.

Multichoice’s Digital Satellite TV (DStv) has been around for about 22 years. Its monopoly was last challenged by HiTV which has long ceased to be in the market owing to a mix of factors that include huge debts and boardroom tussles. With HiTV out, DStv dominance. But with the announcement of the new TV provider entering the market with the Hybrid Broadcast Broadband (HBB) technology that combines both satellite and internet service for TV services, DStv is re-strategizing to sustain its market share. Already it is being speculated that the company is planning to adopt the PAYG offering, although it is yet to be announced.

Telcom Satelite TV is set to challenge the monopoly of South African Multichoice’s Digital Satellite TV (DStv) in the pay TV market. It is the next big thing in Nigeria and  TStv Africa decoder shall be on sell nationwide from 1st October! But before then, dealers outlet location addresses shall be made available for easy accessibility of the decoders. Details can be gotten at their official site www.tstvafrica.com

DSTV MULTICHOICE STARTS PAY-PER-VIEW PRICING MODEL

 Most of the DStv/GOtv subscribers are complaining bitterly about the price reap-off of this current subscription regime and consider it as a cheat and believes that we should only pay for what we consume.
In response, ppv has been introduced into DSTV/GOTV pricing system as an alternative option.

Now, Multichoice Nigeria has announced it would be launching a Pay-Per-View (PPV) option in the country. The company says this would allow subscribers watch some important programms not available on their bouquet. Though, at an extra cost to the willing consumers.
According to the HPR, “Pay TV operation is not like the telecom version where you pay for the amount of airtime you want to use. Pay-as-you-go, as believed by some customers, is not obtainable in the pay TV business,”
Make money from your Website or Blog with BidVertiser

“Paying for PPV in Europe and the UK is equivalent to paying for two months subscription in Nigeria. We know Africans love boxing that is why we are bringing the best thing that is happening in the world to Africa.”
Many subscribers of Multichoice Nigeria's pay-TV service are currently having issues with the company on its fixed subscription regime.

Some of the company’s pay-TV subscribers state that Multichoice should extend the pricing model to over all its bouquets. Consumers say the current pricing regime is  unfair and waste of resources as they usually don’t get the value for their money.
One subscriber lamented bitterly, saying: “Having a pay-per-view could be a good alternative, as to me the current subscription regime is a cheat on me. Initially, I used to do the full bouquet like N13000 ($42.5) and then I just thought I was wasting money and reduced it to around N3000 ($9.8). What I really watch on the DStv is the E!,” said Ms. Olamide, a DStv subscriber.
Another Explorer subscriber of the DStv pay-TV states that: “The current regime is a reap-off on subscribers as we should only pay for what we consume.”
Make money from your Website or Blog with BidVertiser

“I feel the PPV thing should work. I suggest this should be based on option as there many channels and for the explorer package where they record some of the best movies for you to watch. Then, how would do this as it would also affect them.”
This might be a good development as there is no sufficient electricity to enjoy the value of your monthly Pay TV subscription.

How to compile and run C++ program on Windows OS

Compile and run C++ programming on your OS

SEMrush

C++ is completely free and readily available on all platforms.
Follow the tutorial below for running C++ on your computer.
There are multiple compilers and text editors you can use to run C++ programming. These may differ from system to system.
If you want a quick start, you can also run C++ program online.

Run C++ in Windows (XP, 7, 8 and 10)

To run C++ Programming in Windows, you’d need to download Code::Blocks.
There are others available as well but Code::Blocks makes installation a piece of cake.
It’s easy, simple and developer friendly.
To make this procedure even easier, follow this step by step guide.
  1. Go to the binary release download page of Code:Blocks official site.
    Download Code::Blocks in Windows
  2. Under Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8.x / 10 section, click the link with mingw-setup highlighted row either from Sourceforge.net or FossHub.
  3. Open the Code::Blocks Setup file and follow the instructions (Next > I agree > Next > Install); you don’t need to change anything. This installs the Code::Blocks with gnu gcc compiler, which is the best compiler to start with for beginners.
  4. Now, open Code::Blocks and go to File > New > Empty file (Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+N)
    Create new empty file in CodeBlocks
  5. Write the C++ code and save the file with .cpp extension. To save the file, go to File > Save (Shortcut: Ctrl+S). Important: The filename should end with .cpp extension, like: hello.cpp, your-program-name.cpp
    Create .cpp file to run C++
  6. To run the program, go to Build > Build and Run (Shortcut: F9). This will build the executable file and run it.
If your program doesn’t run and if you see error message "can't find compiler executable in your search path(GNU GCC compiler)",  go to Settings > Compiler > Toolchain executables  and click Auto-detect. This should solve the issue in most cases.

Alternatively, you can download and use c++ compiler from the link shown below and follow the same procedures
Download

Your first C++ program

Now you have installed the compiler based on your OS, it’s time to write your first C++ program.

“Hello World!”

Your first C++ program will be a “Hello World!” program.
You might have noticed “Hello World!” being the first program while starting out with any programming language. This is because:
SEMrush
  • It is a standard check to see whether everything is working fine or not.
  • There will be very less code to start with.
  • The less code makes it intuitive for the beginners to get acquainted with the language.
  • The code is enough to learn the basic syntax and semantics of the language.
So, let’s get coding.
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main()
{
    cout<<"Hello World!";
    return 0;
}

The program prints Hello World! in the output screen.

SOUTH KOREA versus USA

Imagine the world without the advancing technology, how to people carry out daily activities as easy as it has been now?

 South Korea is the most high tech country.
#Fastest Internet.

#In 2050, South Korea will beat USA in economy and technology.

#County with the most high tech driving lessons.

#No dressing rooms, just a digital mirror to see yourself in different clothings.

#Has the most robots in hospitals.

#Shipped the most karaokes in the world.

#Shipped the most coffee vending machines in Asia (especially the Philippines)

#Has the most robots in cafes.

#Has the most robots in apartments

#Most robots in schools

#Incheon International Airport the best airport for more than 5 years

#Kpop- high tech sounds and instruments Japan can't afford to sell

#Seoul- The World's most high tech City

#New Songdo- 10th Most high tech cityM+4

what then do you think about these two great countries?
Um, okay, not to be rude but USA shouldn't even be here and especially not before China and Korea. US is not that high tech. China and Korea most definitely are.M+6
Korea is catching up to Japan. Especially after the tsunami which was a tragic accident. There are more samsung and LG products sold than toshiba or Yoshida products. Both countries are superior in technology but eventually Korea will rise to the top!M+13
Most of the devices came in india from south koreaM+9
Korea has greatest WIFI condition and also fastest Internet access speed.
Not to mention, also, there are many good technicians who can fix any electronic gadgets in just 1 or 2 days. However, I think Korea should invest more and more to innovation of It related industry to become better.

South Korea is developing in an extreme speed, and the famous South Korean companies such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai ETC. Those companies are help to develop South Korea. South Korea will catch up Japan in an extreme speed. It's about how long it will take to catch up Japan
Japan used to be the world's tech leader in the 1970s to the 1990s. Back then, the world did not even know that Korea was a country that made technology. However, as Samsung, LG, and other companies in South Korea began to be advanced and started to compete with Japan, Germany, and other top countries as 2000 came in. But the real climax for Korea came in and will stay since the 2010s as Sony, Panasonic, Sanyo, and other Japanese technology companies begin to go under the Korean companies.

Samsung alone already bests all the Japanese tech companies combined. Hyundai, Kia, etc are flourishing, despite their recently late history of a start. South Korea's military technology is far superior to Japan, mainly because South Korea is still technically at war with North Korea. Samsung is fighting Apple, one of the biggest tech giants out there. In fact, 92% of all phones sold go to Samsung and Apple. The 6% includes LG, HTC, etc, and NO Japanese companies. Checkmate.
Most advanced in technology, Samsung proved to be the world's most advanced in technology, they are now renowned with their good appliances.
South Korea has created so many amazing things - Samsung is the world's largest technology electrical company in the world and defeats United States' APPLE and defeats Japan's NOKIA and other competitors - South Korea is right beside and almost over Japan.
South Korea is now a country that is easily recognizable as a country which possesses the most powerful technology.

South Korea's catching up speed is faster than Japanese speed.
Just because america made Google, Microsoft, apple, and intel, it doesn't mean they have best tech, if Korea actually made those tech, they would be better, although Korea doesn't try to make those because they are already companies like it so people don't have to choose between two famous searching websites
It has the most powerful mobile companies in the world!
Used to be Japan... But now it is Korea, with forward thinking plans. USA still dominates in the overall scheme of technology in terms of lifestyle implementation, software, weapon technology, and space technology, but lags behind in everday life related items.
South Koreans are the most diligent and hard working people in the world! That is why they have risen through all of the hardships that came their way to become one of the greatest and high tech country in the world.
